The National Weather Service Liaison Repeater Plan was devised to allow the orderly and timely communication of severe weather reports from the individual (Amateur Radio) spotter networks into the Romeoville Weather Forecast Office. Each Liaison Repeater is assigned the task of supporting a finite number of Counties. By agreement, Liaison Repeaters should NOT be employed to, simultaneously, conduct spotter networks.
